With that in mind, and the fact that oil prices elsewhere in the world aren't as high, (Yes, I know SOME are higher) doesn't the US, as a world power and whose economy the rest of the world used to like to base theirs on, realize that it's only best to keep prices low so that it's people may become more prosperous?

On top of THAT, the Saudis (The people the left are convinced are having their prices regulated by the Bush gas price lever located on the oval office desk) are offering to not only set everyone straight on what gas prices SHOULD be AS WELL AS offer people more oil so the prices can get back to normal...

Now, with all that in mind, why don't we drill for oil here in the US, places like ANWR, North and South Dakota and Montana? This would give US the upper hand on oil and be able to tell Venezuela and Iran where they can go with their threats against us.
